This family-owned Finnish dance and sports apparel and equipment brand was founded in 1974. It sells dance wear, gymnastics and skating clothing and sports accessories, for both recreational and competitive use. Most garments of its own la Pirouette label are designed, cut and sewn at its own workshop in Tampere, and offcuts from production become items such as hair donuts, headbands and knee guards. Other brands include Intermezzo, Repetto, Capezio, Bloch, Merlet and So Danca.
The shop is in the Forum shopping centre. Ballet shoe fittings are by appointment. The online shop is open around the clock, and phone service is available on weekdays from 9 to 16. There is no wheelchair accessible parking.
