The unit produces guides, handbooks, reports and posters to support media education. Materials cover media literacy and programming skills from early childhood education through comprehensive school, as well as children and young people's media use. The Lapset & media guide addresses families with children aged 5–12.
Printed publications can be ordered, while some resources are online only. Many are available in Swedish and English, and some in Northern, Inari and Skolt Sami. Resources also include Media Skills Week materials and Mediataito magazine for practitioners. The premises have accessible access, a wheelchair-accessible toilet and accessible seating.
