This non-profit association provides Montessori early childhood education and teaching for ages 3–12 through seven playschools and a comprehensive school. Myllypuro accepts children from one and Munkkiniemi from two. Maria Montessori's approach respects individuality, each child's pace and a learning-supportive environment.
Families take an active part in daily life and develop the curriculum together with children. Parents can influence the association's activities, and membership is open. The association is based in the Herttoniemi hospital building.
