This services and activity centre for people with visual impairments offers venues for courses, meetings, seminars and events, as well as accommodation. There are seven meeting rooms, from a 120-person auditorium to smaller rooms, and all meeting rooms and guest rooms are accessible. The Braille auditorium has an induction loop and an interpreting system for 50 people. The centre also provides rehabilitation for people with visual impairments, individually and in groups.

The building houses the Antell Iiris restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch and snacks, and Pimé Café, where coffee is served in darkness. Annansilmät-Aitta sells handicrafts made by visually impaired people. The swimming pool department has a rehabilitation pool, a children's pool, a whirlpool and a pool lift. The building was completed in 2003 to a design by architect Rainer Mahlamäki, and parking, the entrance and the toilet are wheelchair accessible.
