Operating nationally since 1984, the non-profit organisation provides peer and professional support for relatives of people who use drugs, people in recovery and drug users themselves. Politically and religiously independent, it works to prevent drug-related harm and contributes to public debate.
Support is available through a telephone helpline, the Sekasin chat service and relatives' groups, including groups using the 5 Step method. The organisation also coordinates Nuorisokoutsi youth coaching and Huudikoutsi drug work coaching. Services are offered in Finnish, Swedish and English.
