This seven-place specialist child protection unit provides round-the-clock residential care for 10–17-year-olds. It mainly handles emergency and open-care placements, with longer stays possible. The multidisciplinary staff includes social work, nursing and practical nursing expertise, alongside neuropsychiatric guidance and brief therapy skills.
Each young person has a private room, with a shared living room, activity room and yard. School attendance is supported with schools and student welfare teams, quiet study spaces and school transport. Work with families and support networks aims to support a return home. Crisis placement enquiries are accepted by phone around the clock.
