Founded in 1988, this Finnish Aeronautical Association member club provides training for LAPL(A) and PPL(A) licences. It has around 200 members of different ages. Members can rent aircraft for leisure flying and practise different conditions in a flight simulator.
Weekly meetings take place in the clubhouse in an airport hangar. English is widely used and Finnish is not required. Activities include shared flying trips and a night flight theory course. The club publishes a safety bulletin twice a year and follows written procedures.
