This restaurant company was founded in 1970 and owns several restaurants and event venues. Its owners are three Ostrobothnian student nations of the university. It runs the Ostrobotnia building in Etu-Töölö, built by Ostrobothnian students in 1912 and home to restaurant activity since its early years. The restaurants include the legendary Manala bar and restaurant, open nearly every day of the year, the 50-year-old St. Urho's Pub, known as Urkki, and the newest, Dagmar Bistro & Wine Bar, serving classic dishes and wines.
Botta Events rents meeting and event spaces for private and corporate gatherings. Many of the restaurants host events open to the public, listed in an event calendar. Invoices are primarily accepted electronically. The seating and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
