Founded in 1987 by filmmakers Pertti Veijalainen, Jouko Aaltonen and Heimo Lappalainen, the production company specialises in creative documentary filmmaking. It has made over 150 productions, including twenty international co-productions, with TV series and films for cinema and television.
Its work has screened at Finnish and international festivals and received awards. Documentary projects received EU MEDIA development support in 2003, 2010, 2012 and 2015.
