The unemployment fund pays statutory benefits, including earnings-related daily allowance, mobility allowance and transition security allowance. Membership can be arranged through an affiliated trade union. Students in paid employment can join too, but membership cannot be backdated.
The website provides an allowance calculator and an online service. Guidance covers laid-off and part-time workers, students, self-employed people and those working abroad. The website is available in Finnish, Swedish and English.
