The workplace sickness fund is separate from its founding employer and covers staff whose main income comes from Lassila & Tikanoja. It pays statutory health insurance benefits instead of Kela and supplementary benefits, mainly for services outside regular occupational healthcare.
Some contacts and claims are handled through the Iris online service. The fund is supervised by Kela and registered with the Financial Supervisory Authority. The office is at Lassila & Tikanoja and has an accessible entrance and parking area.
