Founded by Mika and Julie Tolvanen in 2015, the product design office creates everyday objects and furniture collections. Clients include international brands in Europe, North America and Asia, such as Muuto, Woud, Teknion, Zanotta and Isku. The approach emphasises function and self-explanatory products.
The studio and workshop are on Lauttasaari island. Mika graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2001, while Julie holds architecture and Aalto University furniture design degrees. Their work has appeared in design exhibitions, with awards including the 2015 Good Design Award and Årets Rum's Furniture of the Year 2018.
