The Wolf Action Group (Susiryhmä) is a working group of the Finnish nature organisation Luontoliitto that promotes the protection of wolves and other large carnivores in Finland. Its current work focuses on combating wildlife poaching and on advocacy. It builds livestock-protecting wolf fences, makes trips to wolf territories and spreads information about wolves. It organises meetings, webinars, excursions and public events, and co-organises demonstrations on behalf of wolves and other wild animals.
All volunteers are welcome to join. The group is a member of Eurogroup for Animals and the European Wolf Alliance and has submitted statements on large carnivore policy drafts. The website offers a newsletter and a donation option. The entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
