This campsite lies on the shore of clear-watered Lake Liekune in Southern Savonia and is part of the Caravan Huiput network of 17 campsites. There is a child-friendly swimming beach and a playground for small children, and dogs have their own swimming beach; the area was named the most dog-friendly of the year in 2017. A turf hut (kota), a lean-to shelter and a common building are available for gatherings and snack breaks. Berry and mushroom forests and nature trails are nearby. The solar panel system was installed in a green transition project co-financed by the EU.
Car and caravan pitches cannot be reserved in advance. The village centre is about 3.5 km away, Mikkeli about 32 km, and the site is roughly 15 minutes' drive from main road 5. The car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
