Run by a local heritage association founded in 1945, this museum comprises a farm museum area and an object museum beside the church. The association describes the farm museum area as the largest in Päijät-Häme. It hosts local heritage events and small temporary exhibitions.
The association sells historical literature and replica buckles and bangles based on ancient jewellery. It also owns the Old Municipal Hall, designed by Vilho Penttilä and built in 1902. A virtual tour and information are available online in Finnish, English, Russian, German and Swedish.
