Founded in 1936, this volunteer contract fire brigade supports the regional rescue department. Its area includes detached houses, apartment blocks, farms and industry, as well as groundwater areas and culturally significant sites. Its purpose is to protect people, animals, property and the environment from fires and other accidents.
Members receive rescue, leadership and practical skills training alongside leisure activities. The brigade also provides fire safety education and relies on volunteers and supporting members. The entrance and car park are wheelchair accessible.
