Mauno Suonpää's private collection contains over 580 burls and other natural forms found in forests. Each find is named and marked with a numbered brass plate. They include naturally formed letters and numbers and a burl tree about four metres tall and four metres in circumference.
The collection occupies a machine hall, a former family home and a gallery built around a large burl. There is also a coffee house. Guest books record visitors from at least 50 countries, and the site features on the world forest culture map.
