Kerkkä is a reuse centre run by the Hyria foundation in the Willa shopping centre. It accepts donations of intact, usable household goods such as furniture, dishes, books, toys, electronics and textiles. It sells second-hand textiles, books, tableware, children's goods, home decor and furniture, and is also a source of materials for craft projects. It works as a learning and training environment for people in a weak labour-market position, and profits go to work-life services and recycling activities.
There is a small-donation point and a loading-dock donation point for furniture and larger donations. Large purchases can be delivered home on weekdays by Hyria's logistics centre. Flea markets, auctions and environmental education events are held on site. A lift and sliding walkway, staff assistance and wheelchair-friendly fitting rooms make visiting easier, and assistance dogs are welcome. Parking in the Willa car park is free for a limited time, and bus and train connections are nearby.
