The wind orchestra traces its roots to a workers' association band established in 1916. It became an independent association in 2002. Alongside its own concerts, it performs at events, celebrations and parades.
The ensemble can be booked for company events, weddings and Christmas parties. Rehearsals take place in the Hyvinkääsali rehearsal room. It works within an adult education institute and cooperates with a music school. New musicians are welcome, and instruments can be lent to members.
