The vocational institute's driving practice area has asphalt roads, wide safety zones and road sections for handling heavy vehicles. Its winter slippery-surface track includes straight and curved sections and is used when weather permits. A night-driving loop of about 2.5 km allows practice in spotting pedestrians and overtaking.
Facilities also support truck loading with timber loaders and cranes and training with forklifts and pallet movers; the terminal has two loading ramps. Lighting can be switched off for night practice, and barriers can close the area to other traffic. The icy track and handling area can be hired by phone or email. Driving schools can book a risk-recognition track day.
