The craft association runs courses for beginners and active hobbyists and provides craft advice. Topics include concrete casting, Japanese sashiko embroidery, knitting and traditional Finnish rya rugs. It is part of a nationwide craft organisation.
The association is based in the former railway station building, now Taitokeskus Villa Vaihde. Members receive a newsletter, access to member evenings and voting rights at association meetings.
