Designed by Bertel Strömmer and built in 1917–1924, the venue has a 164-square-metre hall, eight metres high, with a stage and balcony for up to 300 people. Other spaces include a café for 30–40, club room for 20–30, kitchen and meeting rooms. Permanent displays feature building drawings, Chiewitz architecture and national-costume dolls.
The local heritage association hires rooms for celebrations, meetings and cultural events. Coffee service can be provided or self-arranged. Tableware, linen and hall equipment can be hired, with equipment and cleaning handled by the association. Access is step-free, with accessible parking and a toilet.
