Founded in 1987, the sauna society runs the volunteer-built Villa Vihta sauna on Toivolansaari island by Lake Kyrösjärvi. Alongside a sauna room for nearly 30, there are separate men's and women's changing rooms and showers, and a common room with an open kitchen.
Spaces can be hired by individuals, associations and companies. Public sessions take place on set days, and ice swimming is permitted only during public or private sessions. An accessible toilet is provided. The society also organises a sauna festival and has built portable saunas.
