Founded as a general sports club in 1908, the association has focused on pesäpallo, Finnish baseball, since 1977. Its women's team won Finnish championships and cup titles during the 1980s and 1990s. Junior development is also part of the club's work.
The home ground's blue sand-based artificial turf was renewed in 2018, and a main grandstand was completed in 2020 with Leader funding and foundation support. Match tickets and season passes can be purchased using Edenred and ePassi.
