The folk music association organises an annual festival in South Ostrobothnia and the Lokakuun Loiskeet event with instrumental competitions. It also runs a folk music course requiring participant registration.
It publishes the Spelaillen sheet music booklet and has produced a 50-year history of its events, tracing folk music from the 1700s onwards. The website provides membership contacts and lists of host localities and performing ensembles.
