Operated by municipally owned Puhas Oy, the waste station accepts household cardboard, paper, glass, metal, wood, plastics, textiles and mixed waste for combustion. Electrical equipment, batteries and hazardous waste such as paints, solvents, oils and chemicals are accepted too. Furniture, windows, plasterboard, mineral wool, stone and concrete can also be brought here.
Asbestos and garden waste are not accepted; garden waste goes to a separate municipal collection point. Clothing and household textiles for donation are taken to charities in plastic bags. Business waste services include the municipality's secondary waste service for certain waste types. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
