This Karelian-style restaurant on Parppeinvaara serves a Karelian banquet table and lunch in a log house, with kantele music. Specialities are the house-baked Karelian pies and local vatruskas. There is also a modern Karelian banquet meal and seasonal menus for holidays, and on some autumn Fridays burger evenings are held with takeaway available.
It is run by Tsipaniekka Oy, and the restaurateur has been in charge since 2016. Meeting and party services and a bar are available. Tables and groups can be booked; the banquet meal is served on set days, and at other times for groups with advance booking. The entrance, toilet and car park are wheelchair accessible.
