The tourism association's information service helps visitors explore Karelian culture, nature and military history. Parppeinvaara's rune village combines traditional singing, kantele music, crafts, Orthodox faith and food. Its sites include the Rune Singer's House, museum barns, General Raappana's cabin, a chapel and the Mesikkä nature cottage.
Advice is available by phone and email, and at the village information point in summer. The website covers restaurants, Petkeljärvi National Park and the 150 km military history route with memorials, museums and battle sites. Parking, the entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
