The clinic is run by small-animal specialist vet Pekka Sarkanen and has operated since 1971. It shares a website with Saimaan Eläinklinikka. Services include vaccinations, internal medicine with an in-house lab, surgery, orthopaedics, X-ray and ultrasound, dental care and endoscopy. Sterilisation is done through a mini-incision without stitches, and surgery is performed under sevoflurane anaesthesia with continuous monitoring.
Dogs can have official PEVISA health screenings and joint checks, at the clinic and at group screening dates elsewhere. Eye surgery, laser treatment and artificial insemination of dogs, also with frozen semen, are offered too. Horse services include gastric and respiratory endoscopy, dental care and artificial insemination. Euthanasia is available, with communal or individual cremation. Common bank and credit cards are accepted. Referrals for PEVISA tests must be ordered in advance through the Kennel Club's Oma Koira service. Online booking is not in use. The car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
