No doctor's referral or appointment is needed. Equipment can also be returned to the lending service in Lappeenranta or a wellbeing station's physiotherapy service. Users arrange their own collection and return transport, while the county's assistive device centre handles repairs and maintenance. Urgent enquiries can be directed by phone to the Lappeenranta service. The entrance, car park and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
