This campsite lies on Varpasaari island and is open year-round. Restaurant Wanha Virveli serves food and home-baked pastries on a terrace and has its own salmon pond: fresh salmon is served and also sold smoked or fresh. Rental cottages with saunas stand on the shore of the Vuoksi river.
A private shore sauna, Räihän Kuohu, can be booked, with food ordered from the restaurant. Rentals include fishing equipment, minigolf, Vuoksi river cruises, e-bikes, rowboats, SUP boards and ice skates. Event and meeting rooms hold up to about 200 guests, with catering available. A large party house, Saimaan Atlas, can also be hired in Ukonniemi for up to 150 guests. The seating, car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible, and the place is child-friendly.
