At the southern tip of Orslandet island, the recreation area has woodland, sheltered bays and rocky shores, covering 14 hectares of land and four of water. Boaters have jetties and over a dozen mooring buoys in water around eight metres deep. It is a base for kayaking and SUP, with Hankelö and Andö a few kilometres away.
Arrive by boat, or on foot or bicycle via the Barösund ferry and roughly four kilometres of gravel road. Facilities include two saunas, cooking shelters and designated fire pits; fires are allowed only in built fireplaces and dogs must be leashed. Cabins operate from May to September, booked by text or WhatsApp. Day visits do not require an overnight stay. Narrow, uneven forest paths, the entrance and parking are not wheelchair accessible. Payment is by MobilePay or bank transfer.
