This camp and course centre is owned by Helsingin Partiopoikain Kannatusyhdistys and managed by Pääkaupunkiseudun Partiosäätiö. It is meant mainly for Scout groups in the Helsinki area but can also be rented by others. The main lodge, Urhola, sleeps 50 and has a kitchen centre in a former cowshed. Three 10-person log cabins (Urkintupa, Palintupa, Piventupa) can be rented separately or as extra space. Saunatupa is a sauna hall, and a 20-person meeting room has a projector and small kitchen but no beds. The Lassila main building has four meeting rooms.

There is a shared lakeside electric sauna and an old wood-fired sauna. The grounds have two marked orienteering courses and a climbing container. Of the roughly 150-hectare Kavakorpi outdoor area, 60 hectares are in the Metso conservation programme. Tent areas Niitty and Metsä and the Kavakorpi campfire site are available, and an accessibility report can be requested. Booking is online.
