Gammelgården is the local heritage museum of Ingå, a farm complex where each building has its own historical use. It is run by the Ingå museum and heritage society, founded in 2004, which organises activities for members and other interested people. Annual events include midsummer pole raising and village walks, and demonstrations of old crafts, such as laying bark roofs, have been held at times.
Visitors can walk around the grounds on their own, and guides are present on certain summer Saturdays. Guided tours of the old buildings are offered on Ingå Day and at the annual craft day. The car park is wheelchair accessible.
