A large round, moss-covered boulder stands in the forest of Lauhanvuori National Park. It and the nearby rock formations are weathered bedrock remnants known as tors. The area's bedrock is mainly sandstone, changing to granite on lower slopes. The site is part of Lauhanvuori-Hämeenkangas UNESCO Global Geopark.
A narrow road allows cars to reach almost to the boulder. Walking routes are described on the Geopark website and Luontoon.fi. Neither the entrance nor parking area is wheelchair accessible.
