This observation tower in the Haapakeidas mire conservation area overlooks a raised bog. A 1.3 km nature trail leads from a small car park through forest to the open mire. Managed by Metsähallitus, the site is part of the Lauhanvuori-Hämeenkangas UNESCO Global Geopark.
A picnic table and benches stand by the tower. Its lower platform is wheelchair accessible, but the trail is no longer maintained as accessible and the paths have narrowed. The short route's varied scenery also suits family outings.
