A hiking route through rocky heath forest in a nature reserve leads to a hilltop lean-to shelter. Ancient burial cairns and a ring of stones known as court stones are found in the area. The route is easy, though the final stretch climbs steps up a small hill.
The shelter has a fireplace, firewood and a dry toilet. It can also be reached along a forest road of about one kilometre, which cannot be driven by car. Parking and route signs are at the starting point. The site is unsuitable for prams, and neither the site nor its steps receives winter maintenance. Take all litter away. The municipality maintains the site.
