The school combines mainstream grades 1–5 with special classes. Special education follows either the general curriculum with individual support for grades 1–5 or activity-area curricula for grades 1–9. Mainstream and special preschool groups are also provided. Its roots lie in Lyckebo daycare for disabled children, opened in 1964.
Morning, afternoon and holiday care are available. An outdoor education programme has run since 2018, and special classes draw pupils from across the region. The entrance and car park are accessible, and web content is in Swedish.
