This campus is a block of buildings from four centuries in the town centre. It hosts Novia University of Applied Sciences' institute for art and culture, with studies in music, art, photography, game arts and communication and design, taught in Swedish and English. Centria offers trilingual studies in Finnish, Swedish and English, including business and IT engineering.
Yrkesakademin i Österbotten offers vocational qualifications in culture, and Wava Institute provides curriculum-based teaching in music, visual arts, dance and theatre for children, young people and adults. Jakobstads Sinfonietta acts as the training orchestra for music students. Facilities can be rented for lectures, seminars and cultural events, and flexible office space suits entrepreneurs and remote workers. The car park and entrance are wheelchair accessible.
