Hartman is a Finnish family-owned hardware store that traces its origins to 1862, when Carl Johan Hartman opened a general goods shop in Vaasa. The company specialised in hardware in the 1890s and has stayed in the trade ever since. It is now run by the fifth generation of the Hartman family. The store offers tools and building materials for home renovators and construction companies, as well as wood and panel products, steel, industrial supplies, paints, and cleaning and hygiene products. Its wood products carry PEFC certification for sustainably managed wood.
Online orders can be collected in store through Click & Collect, and home delivery is offered. Professional customers such as building contractors, resellers and industry have their own services, including ProPartner. In-store interior design consultation and colour advice are available.
