A restaurant, wine estate and country hotel share the grounds at Uusi-Yijälä, near Himos. The restaurant serves local food made with domestic ingredients, and some of the produce grows on the organic farm. The menu includes vegan vegetable patties, fish, poultry, beef steak and reindeer, as well as ice cream and coffee drinks. The estate makes its own wines, such as a semi-dry green currant wine and a blackcurrant-aronia wine, and the wine shop is open every day. It was named Entrepreneur of the Year in 2023.
Rooms are available in the country hotel, and groups of 6 to 15 can book the lakeside sauna. The restaurant hall hosts parties, weddings, funerals and meetings, and gift cards are sold. The restaurant is open on weekday evenings from Tuesday to Friday and on Saturdays. There is no online booking; reserve by phone or email. The seating, car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
