Founded in 2008 by master upholsterer Virve Taljavirta, the workshop offers traditional and modern upholstery, wood repairs and refinishing. It specialises in restoring Artek furniture to its original upholstery. Older pieces use fillings such as Finnish hemp and poplar shavings; modern furniture uses foam and wadding.
Work also covers boat and motorhome cushions, headboards and public seating, with fire-retardant materials for public spaces. Fabrics, leather and accessories are sold, and transport can be arranged. Estimates are given from emailed photographs or in person. Accessible parking is available.
