This restaurant and event venue stands on the shore of Tuusulanjärvi and offers lunch, group dining, parties, meetings and accommodation. The main building is a log schoolhouse from the 1920s, moved from Alahärmä in Ostrobothnia and rebuilt as a restaurant and inn. The food is organic, with the organic share of the menu varying between 30 and 60 percent by season. Everything is prepared by hand from fresh ingredients, with recipes developed over more than a year before the organic menu began in August 2016.
The salad buffet follows Martha Organisation guidelines, and the meat is domestic. The house has won the Finnish organic cooking championship several times. Staff can give allergen information on request. Breakfast is included with accommodation, Wi-Fi and parking are free, and the building is non-smoking and child-friendly. There is no pool or gym. Seating, car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
