This recycling centre is run by Keski-Uudenmaan Kierrätys- ja Toimintakeskus ry, a non-profit, non-commercial association. Any surplus goes to low-income people in the area. It accepts used items donated by the public for resale and sells second-hand goods. The association provides employment in cooperation with other organisations through employment measures, and is politically and religiously non-aligned.
Electronics are tested at an electrical safety check point, and these items and bicycles checked by the centre carry a 7-day return right from the purchase date. Cash, bank cards, Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard and MobilePay are accepted. Annual activity reports for 2021–2023 are published. Parking and the entrance are wheelchair accessible.
