This public lower comprehensive school in the Jampa area of the northern part of town teaches grades 1 to 6. It has about 270 to 280 pupils and two preschool groups. Its way of working is built on recognising pupils' strengths and positive encounters.
An after-school club and free leisure clubs are on offer, including sports, music, comics and a homework club with an adult helper. The school works with parents and local organisations such as MASPA, a service for international newcomers. The schoolyard encourages active play, and the car park and entrance are wheelchair accessible.
