This campus belongs to Riveria, a municipal education consortium owned by North Karelia municipalities. Riveria offers over 100 vocational qualifications across different fields, partly in English. It has around 17,000 students and about 700 staff, with further training units in Kitee, Lieksa, Nurmes, Outokumpu and Valtimo.
Students run practice companies and service units such as a bakery-café, a restaurant and a hair salon. Apprenticeship training, further education for adults and labour market training are also offered. The subsidiary Riveria Koulutuspalvelut Oy operates in the competitive training market. Cooperation with working life is a central focus. The car park and entrance are wheelchair accessible.
