The driving school is in the city centre, has operated since 1987 and has issued over 7000 driving licences. Training covers car, moped, motorcycle, moped car, tractor and BE licences. It also offers risk training with driving lessons on a car and a simulator, training for the police-ordered driving test and driving ability assessments on health grounds, training with a driving permit, and professional competence further training online.
The ground floor houses a driving simulator centre, AjoMesta Simulator Center, and the AjoWeppi app helps with preparing for the driving test. Individual driving lesson packages and a car rental for the driving test are available, and trailers can be rented too. Teaching is also available in English. The car park is wheelchair accessible.
