The ice-swimming club is a registered association and one of the largest ice-swimming clubs in Finland. The Vehkalahti centre is a year-round open-water swimming and sauna spot next to Vehkalahti beach, about 3 km from the city centre. There are two saunas: Rento takes about 30 people and Ryhti about 25. Ryhti runs quieter Lempeä Ryhti sessions with gentle löyly at set times. The club also organises competition trips, hiking trips and evening social events.
Membership gives unlimited swimming and sauna use during opening hours, and non-members buy a single-visit wristband. Children under 5 may swim and use the sauna without a wristband when accompanied by a guardian. The premises have about 20 parking spaces plus roadside parking, and bus line 3 serves the area. The car park is wheelchair accessible.
