This hunting club operates in the southern part of its municipality, on the border with Puumala and the former Anttola municipality. It was founded in 1964 from a moose hunting group that began in 1957. Moose hunting is the main activity, with an annual moose hunting feast. The hunting area covers about 5,400 hectares of pine and birch forest.
There are around 56 members, and the moose hunting group has about 25 shareholders. The club owns a hunting cabin built in 1984 and a moose skinning shed with cold-storage equipment. It belongs to the Finnish Hunters' Association, and volunteer work is part of its activities.
