This second-hand shop is run by the Finnish Red Cross as part of its fundraising. It accepts donations of furniture, clothing and footwear, home textiles, decor items, dishes, household goods and books. Proceeds fund regional Red Cross aid work through more than 50 local branches. The shop is laid out like an ordinary store.
It operates on Red Cross principles and provides work and activity for people with partial work ability, the long-term unemployed, returning workers, rehabilitees and young people starting careers. The branches are in the Keljo and Kirri areas and in Seppälä. The entrance and car park are wheelchair accessible.
